In general, lakes often hold the largest trout, and the lakes in our area are no different. A 20" fish on a river might be the fish of the day, but on a lake like Lewis Lake or Henry's Lake, the smallest fish of the day might be 20". Browns, rainbows, cutthroat, brook trout, cutbows all inhabit these reservoirs and readily devour dry flies, nymphs and streamers. And the lake take . . . it's like the fishing is trying to pull the rod out of your hands!

On Lewis Lake you can cast dry flies to rising brown trout slashing at mayflies on the surface. Henry's Lake offers opportunities to catch 5 to 10 pound trout on nymphs and streamers. Anglers can have fantastic action early in the season on Palisades Reservoir for rainbows and cutthroat on streamers. Each lake offers a great fishing experience in a beautiful setting.
