Day 2 - Lectures 7:30am - Breakfast 8:30am - 11:00 - River Classifications; Whitewater Rescue Tactics and Techniques 11:00am - 12:00 - Knot Tying with WorldCast Anglers Instructors 12:00pm - 1:00 - Lunch 1:00pm - 3:00 -Business Perspective for a fly-fishing Guide, WorldCast Anglers Partner 4:00pm - 6:30 - Naturalist, "The World around the Water" 6:30-7:00 Introduction to Drift Boats, Trailers & Rigs 7:30pm - Dinner
Day 3 - Rowing Progressions
7:30am -- Breakfast 8:30am - Rowing, Class 1 River 12:30pm - Lunch on the River 5:00pm-7:00pm - Teaching Fly Casting, WCA Instructors and FFF Casting Instructors 7:00pm - Dinner
Day 4 - Lectures 7:30am - Breakfast 8:30am - 10:30 - The Guide/Client Relationship, Registered Psychologist 12:00pm - Lunch 1:00pm - 4:00 CPR and First Aid, American Red Cross 4:00-6:00 - Entomology, Expert in Entomology 6:00pm - 7:00 - Conservation, Trout Unlimited 7:30pm - Dinner
Day 5 - Rowing Progressions
7:30am - Breakfast 8:30am - Second Day of Rowing, Class 2 River 7:30pm - Dinner
Day 6 & 7 - Rowing Progressions 7:30am - Breakfast 8:30am - South Fork Overnight with advanced fishing techniques from a drift boat, Class 2+ River
Day 8 - Rowing Progressions 7:30am - Breakfast 8:30am - Fifth Day on the water, Class 3 River, students' transition to guides 8:00pm - Banquet and Awards, Diplomas: Certification and/or Completion
Day 9 - Departure Day 7:30 - Breakfast and departure |
