Overview

Long gone are the days of organizing a fly fishing outfitter with a pen and paper! For the past three years, WorldCast Anglers has been developing WorldCast Network, a web-based internal database for outfitters and guides designed for fisherman by fisherman. WorldCast Network gives one the ability to manage, organize and execute an outfitter from virtually anywhere in the world for a low monthly fee.

Once logged in to the network from anywhere in the world where the internet can be accessed, outfitters can easily:

Dear Mr. Fletcher White,
I am writing this letter as a word of thanks. Specifically, I am addressing the WorldCast Network, Online Reservation system that you and your very capable partners and staff members have created. Without this program, my flyfishing outfitting business would still be in the Dark Ages.

As you know, our primary booking season for 2004 was quickly approaching. I had been struggling with how to create a more seamless and fully detailed booking system. Through the years I have relied on several systems that just never seemed to get everything right. I was spending an excessive amount of time completing a reservation file for every client that I booked. I had a three part intertwined file for each client. It took me the better part of twenty minutes per reservation to make sure I got it all straight. Following this, I still had to prepare a confirmation letter and make certain it was mailed.

With the World Cast Online Reservation database, my headaches are gone! The ease of use, clarity of detail, and the ability to track ones bookings has made my decision to go with your system a home run. With high speed internet lines, I don’t have to juggle online connections while maintaining an open phone line with clientele. It is possible to have all my necessary fields filled in while still talking directly to the client. The prepared email confirmation and equipment list are sent almost before I get off the phone.

I am very impressed with the ability to create summary reports and document my bookkeeping records. It’s a great feature to have the ability to generate a running tally of trip costs, what has been paid, and any outstanding balances right there with the guide assignments and the client information all on one page. With the summary sheets that are available, end of the quarter, year, etc. amounts are going to be easy to see. In my state of Montana, we are required to file with the Board of Outfitters a total annual use by clients. Since the database will take care of that for you, I’m looking forward to not having to dig up records from six months prior come next December!

All in all, I can’t say enough about how the WorldCast Network Reservation system has helped my outfitting business. The less time I have to spend on making sure that reservations are complete, the more I can spend on what is important to me- ensuring that my clients have a great time while fishing in Big Sky Country.
