Yellowstone
Lewis River
The Lewis is virtually unexplored and is the closest river to Jackson while still in Yellowstone Park. It holds great browns, rainbows and cutthroat, and is a good early season choice. The fall spawn of Brown trout can also be a very good choice for clients looking to wade. The biggest fish in Yellowstone come out of this river in the fall. Fishing opens Saturday on Memorial Day weekend.
