Salt River Fishing Report – (8.15.19)
Summer now has its firm grasp on the Star Valley area of Wyoming. The Salt is clear and stable; conditions look great. Look for dry dropper fishing to continue to hold on strong with golden imitations, chernobyls and hoppers. Caddis, PMDs and leftover Yellow Sallies will round out the mix. It really pays to be one of the first boats on the water on the Salt this time of year. Anglers looking to do something different than the Henry’s Fork, South Fork or Snake should look at the Salt.
