South Fork Fishing Report – (6.23.20)
Flows are now stable at 13,ooo cfs. Fishing and clarity have been great. Look for fish to take up home in slower water types for the early summer season and as water levels stabilize. We’ve had some reports of Drakes on the lower river which means the big bugs are not that far away. Hatches have been dominated by leftover BWOs and caddis. Nymphing with Rubberlegs, small pheasant tails, zebra midges and BWO imitations will continue to be the most productive method until the big bugs arrive. Look for the lower river to heat up in the next 5 – 10 days!
